Spring and October Saturdays fill up first, often six months ahead. If the calendar shows your date as taken, write to us anyway and we'll check by hand. Delivery and setup within 40 miles of Savannah for an added fee.

I learned to pipe from old cake books and far too many practice boards. Lambeth cakes are still what I love most: layer on layer of shells, swags and ruffles, then a cherry to finish.
Cherry Garland is a two-oven studio in Savannah. I bake for birthdays, showers and weddings along the coast, with pickups in Savannah and Bluffton.

From idea to pickup
One short request, one reply with a sketch and a price, and your date is held. That's the whole process.

Tell us the date, how many people, your flavors and any photos or boards you've been saving.
Get a sketch
Within two days Robin sends a quick drawing of your cake and a quote to go with it.
Hold the date
A 50% deposit books your spot; the rest is due a week before. Card or Apple Pay.
Collect your cake
Friday or Saturday pickup in Savannah or Bluffton. Wedding delivery and setup on request.

Two weeks is comfortable for a birthday cake; for weddings, think three to six months. Spring and October weekends go first. Short notice? Ask anyway, there's sometimes a gap in the week.
What size should I get?
A 4″ serves 4–6, a 6″ serves 10–14 and an 8″ serves 20–24. For tiered cakes, give us a guest count and we'll suggest the tiers.
Do you offer wedding tastings?
Yes, through tasting jars: $9 each, 8 oz, with the sponge, filling and frosting you want to try. Pick them up and taste at home, no appointment needed.
Can you bake gluten-free, dairy-free or vegan?
We can. Gluten-free and dairy-free sponges and a vegan frosting are on the menu. Just mention it in your request.
Can you work with my florist or my mood board?
Please do send them. We regularly match a florist's palette or place fresh flowers they supply, and a mood board helps us get the details right.
How do pickup, delivery and payment work?
Pickups are Friday and Saturday in Savannah, GA or Bluffton, SC. Wedding delivery and setup is available within 40 miles for a fee. A 50% deposit holds your date and the balance is due a week before; we take cards and Apple Pay.
