Next month's books are open. Portraits, animals and full sleeves in black and grey. Big projects fill first, so send your idea early.
A fresh sheet of blackwork flash is up on the wall: $140 each, or two for $250.
Dex is set up in Swift Current this week with a few spots left. Message us soon to grab one.
Walked past with an idea? Come in for flash or a small custom piece with whoever's chair is free.
The front desk posts these from a phone in seconds, and each note takes itself down once its dates have passed.

Reviews
Fresh off the chair
Tomas did my lion half sleeve over three sessions and every one started on time. It healed sharp, and he checked in on it twice.
First tattoo and I was nervous. Wren talked me through every step and the linework is so clean. Already planning the next one.
Walked in on a Tuesday for a flash piece and left an hour later with a rose I love. Friendly room, no attitude.
Jolene finished my leg sleeve while she was up in Prince Albert. Saved me the drive, and the colour is unreal.
The studio
Foundry Row, every day
It started in 2014 with two chairs and a borrowed couch. Today it's seven resident artists, a spare chair for guests and three more towns on the calendar.
Single-use needles and fresh barrier film for every client, and every station is wiped down and rewrapped between sessions. Appointments and walk-ins, daily from 11 to 7.
Healed, not just freshEvery artist keeps photos of their healed work. Ask to see how a piece looks a year later.

Questions
Do you take walk-ins?
Yes, every day on Foundry Row whenever a chair is free. Call ahead on (555) 010-0147, or check “This week at Lodestar” above.
How is the price worked out?
By size, detail, placement and the artist's rate. Send your idea through the form for a quote before your appointment. Flash has a set price on the sheet.
Can I bring my own design?
Of course. Bring a drawing or an idea and your artist will adjust it so it sits well on your body. Changes are easiest at the consult, before the stencil goes on.
Can you cover up an old tattoo?
Often, yes. Tomas, Jolene and Hank all take on cover-ups. Send a clear, well-lit photo of the old piece with your request.
How should I prepare?
Sleep well, eat a proper meal and drink water. Skip alcohol the night before and wear clothes that make the spot easy to reach.
Can I book in Prince Albert, North Battleford or Swift Current?
Yes. Choose the town in the booking form and we'll match you with whoever is visiting next.
